Cascade Lake Trail

2.25 miles (one way) - easy     Elevation: 7999ft
Begins: Cascade Lake Picnic Area – Ends: Cascade Lake
Cascade Lake Picnic Area, 1.5 miles N of Canyon Junction.


Fairy Falls Trail 1

5 miles (one way) - easy     Elevation: 7303ft
Begins: Steel Bridge parking area – Ends: Fairy Falls
197-foot Fairy Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in Yellowstone, dropping into a shallow pool of very cold, clear water, in a beautiful forested setting. Steel Bridge parking area 1 mile N of Midway Geyser Basin.


Fairy Falls Trail 2

7 miles (one way) - easy     Elevation: 7201ft
Begins: Fountain Flats parking – Ends: Fairy Falls
197-foot Fairy Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in Yellowstone, dropping into a shallow pool of very cold, clear water, in a beautiful forested setting. At Fountain Flats parking area.


Grebe Lake Trail

3 mile (one way) - easy     Elevation: 8100ft
Begins: 3.5 miles W of Canyon Jct – Ends: Grebe Lake
3.5 miles W of Canyon Junction on the Norris-Canyon Road. Moderately easy.


Lone Star Geyser Road/Trail

2 miles (one way) - easy     Elevation: 7539ft
Begins: Kepler Cascades parking – Ends: Lone Star geyser
Trailhead just off Grand Loop about 3.5 miles SE of Old Faithful (at Kepler Cascades parking). Lone Star geyser erupts approximately every three hours, and is a crowd pleaser.


Mallard Lake Trail

3.4 miles (one way) - moderate     Elevation: 7520ft
Begins: Old Faithful Lodge cabin area – Ends: Mallard Lake
Beginning at Old Faithful Lodge cabin area. Scenic little lake.


Mount Washburn North Trail

3 miles (one way) - steep     Elevation: 8799ft
Begins: Chittenden Road Parking Area – Ends: Mt Washburn summit
One of the most popular hikes in Yellowstone, the Mt. Washburn trail offers expansive views of the eastern side of the park.


Mount Washburn South Trail

3 miles (one way) - steep     Elevation: 8799ft
Begins: Dunraven Pass Parking Area – Ends: Mt Washburn summit
One of the most popular hikes in Yellowstone, the Mt. Washburn trail offers expansive views of the eastern side of the park.


Mystic Falls Trail

3 miles (loop) - easy     Elevation: 7326ft
Begins: Biscuit Basin parking – Ends: Mystic Falls loop
The falls are located behind Biscuit Basin, near the Old Faithful Area.


Natural Bridge Trail

1.5 mile (one way) - moderate     Elevation: 7861ft
Begins: Bridge Bay Marina parking lot near the campground entrance – Ends: Natural Bridge
The natural bridge is a 51 feet high cliff of rhyolite rock that has been cut through by the process of erosion in nearby Bridge Creek.


North Canyon Rim Trails

Begins: N Rim drive parking area – Ends: end of trail
Many trails run along the length of the N canyon rim. Parking all along the way.


Pelican Creek Trail

1 mile (loop) - easy     Elevation: 7736ft
Begins: E end of Pelican Creek Bridge – Ends: loop
W end of Pelican Creek Bridge, 1 mile E of Fishing Bridge. Short but scenic, to lake and back. Good bird watching.


Riverside Trail

1.4 miles (loop) - easy     Elevation: 6726ft
Begins: Trailhead just inside park gate – Ends: loop
Trailhead just past park gate. Two loop trails running alongside the Madison River. Summer months provide hiking and biking.


South Canyon Rim Trails

X miles - easy     Elevation: 7802ft
Begins: S Rim parking area – Ends: end of trail
Many trails run along the length of the S canyon rim. Parking all along the way.
