In northern Park County, the foothills and peaks of the spectacular Crazy Mountains provide an opportunity for hikers of all expertise levels to traverse trails such as North Rock Creek and Cottonwood. Hiking TrailsMill Creek Trail5 miles Elevation: 5840ft -Begins: Mill Creek Trailhead – Ends: Mill Creek drainage About 15 miles S of Livingston on Hwy 89, then L on Mill Creek Rd (Rd# 486), about 12 miles to Mill Creek Trailhead (on L, just before Snowbank Campground). Hiking, Biking, and Horseback in the summer. Please respect private property and stay on trail. North Rock Creek Trail9 miles (one way) - steep Elevation: 6601ft - 8799ftBegins: North Rock Creek Trailhead – Ends: Rock Lake Hwy 89 N about 10.5 miles, then R on Shields River Rd E, then immediately L on Chicken Creek Rd, 5.6 miles to L on Rock Creek Rd, after 3 miles, turns into Robinson Bench Rd, continue to end for trailhead. Summer months provide hiking and biking use. Passage Creek Falls Trail5 miles (one way) - steep Elevation: 6545ft -Begins: 2.5 miles up Mill Creek Trail – Ends: Passage Creek Falls About 15 miles S of Livingston on Hwy 89, then L on Mill Creek Rd (Rd# 486), about 12 miles to Mill Creek Trailhead (on L, just before Snowbank Campground). Proceed up Mill Creek trail about 2.5 miles to Passage Creek trailhead. Hiking, Biking, and Horseback in the summer. Please respect private property and stay on trail. Pine Creek Falls Trail1.2 miles (one way) - moderate Elevation: 5899ft - 5797ftBegins: Pine Creek Campground – Ends: Pine Creek Falls Very popular tail. Hwy 89 about 10 miles S of Livingston, L to Pine Creek Rd, cross Yellowstone River, then R on East River Rd, about 1.5 miles, then L on Luccock Park Rd, to end for trailhead. Recreation area, campground. Pine Creek Lake Trail5 miles (one way) - steep Elevation: 5899ft - 9173ftBegins: Pine Creek Campground – Ends: Pine Creek Lake More difficult Pine Creek tail. Hwy 89 about 10 miles S of Livingston, L to Pine Creek Rd, cross Yellowstone River, then R on East River Rd, about 1.5 miles, then L on Luccock Park Rd, to end for trailhead. Recreation area, campground. Suce Creek Trail8 miles (loop) - moderate Elevation: 5738ft -Begins: at end of Suce Creek Trailhead Rd – Ends: loop East River Rd, about 8 miles S of Livingston, L on Suce Creek Rd, 1.5 miles then R on Suce Creek Trailhead Rd, 1.4 miles to trailhead.
